The natural Bentley pipe tobaccos are produced in the factories as it was in the days of our grandfathers. In 1986, Dr. Horst Wiethüchter, former chairman of Reemtsma took a bold decision. He took over the Bru-Bru-Werke AG in Switzerland and wanted to create historical and traditional pipes therefore transformed it into a factory for prime Bruyére pipes. This effort could not succeed without an excellent pipe maker.
This led to the cooperation with the Danish pipe specialist Hans Jonny Nielsen. Hereafter production began in Switzerland. Today the Bentley Pipe Company is located in Germany in Lauenburg on the Elbe, another part of the company returned with Hans Nielsen in his native Denmark.
The range of Bentley pipe tobacco includes both classic English and Danish smoking pleasure and represents a sophisticated smoking culture only for men.
