2020 is the Chinese year of the rat. In China this rodent is highly respected. It is a very social animal but also assertive, active, fast and agile. The rat is the first animal in the Chinese sign of the zodiac and thus is a symbol for new beginnings.

This series is the third pipe of the year decorated with a Chinese sign of the zodiac. The design was made by our former student assistant Hyun Ho Je, who by now has a diploma in industrial design. She interpreted the animals in a celtic fashion.

Now let us talk about our thick walled Rhodesian beauty. It features a beautiful spigot style application and the smooth surfaces are finished in matted colours to emphasize the high quality of the woods.
