Silencio is introducing a Connecticut Shade wrapped release, their smoothest creation among it’s portfolio, called Los Rios. The agronomists at Silencio developed a one-of-a-kind Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper by working with an independent grower in Los Rios, a province in Ecuador with soils rich volcanic minerals. Ecuador’s natural cloud cover delivers the perfect growing conditions, similar to a farm using cheese-cloth for shade, but offers a touch of intermittent sunlight to bring the subtle nuances only Mother Nature can provide.
The decadent wrapper is combined with a Brazilian binder, and a blend of Brazilian, Nicaraguan, and Dominican long-fillers. Factor in with masterful construction and performance, and Silencio Los Rios is pure luxury. Smooth and creamy with notes of cocoa, earth, dried fruit, and the smallest hint of baking spice, this premium cigar delivers a moment best taken slowly and with full awareness.
Like every other one of STG’s Silencio lines, it will be made at General Cigar Dominicana in the Dominican Republic.
