The Caribbean rum specialists have been patient for a whole 11 years, devoting all their care to Hartmut and, to crown his character, let it mature in selected bourbon barrels in Barbados and then for several months in cognac barrels in France. Vanilla aromas characterize its distinctive note, as does the taste of ripe bananas, roasted coconuts and a hint of apricot.
